If you do manage to get back in delete every non blue or legendary item and material you have and you will be able to play again. If you are happy to delete all your items and materials you will have the same type of gameplay as you had on your new account. The problem why its effecting higher level characters is because the server cant handle how many weapons and materials you have. Yes it is worse based on the region you are playing in (you are further from the server). But to elaborate and focus it a bit further i will add.They know the problem. My Materials: (Also at Packet Loss 99% while taking screenshot) My Inventory: (While taking this screenshot my Packet Loss was at 99%) This is similar to their statement about not having greater than 50 items in your inventory, but it seems to be a deeper issue than that, with potentially a portion of data that's not as obvious to the player that is also collected over time, and can't simply be deleted by the player (just a guess).What this tells me is they have a critical flaw in how they are storing the data of each player throughout play time, which results in surmounting issues that scale with this playtime (for most players).I proceeded to make a new epic games account, open Space Punks, press play, and immediately the game loads me in with no issues and 0% Packet Loss.
